We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join Merqah Foundation finance team. The Junior Accountant will assist with various accounting tasks, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with all applicable regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
General Ledger Management Assist in maintaining the general ledger by recording daily financial transactions accurately.
Accounts Payable and Receivable Process invoices payments and receipts and ensure timely reconciliation of accounts.
Bank Reconciliation Perform regular bank reconciliations to record all transactions and identify and resolve discrepancies.
Financial Reporting Assist in preparing monthly quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
Data Entry Enter and update financial data in accounting software with precision and attention to detail.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: Internship or prior experience in an accounting role is a plus.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in work.
Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
5 days / 8 hours per day, 2 days off.
