Duties

The incumbent serves as the principal office assistant performing various administrative and clerical duties in support of the Office of Military Cooperations Engagements and Foreign Military Sales Divisions. He/She performs complex office automation support using multiple automated programs. The Executive Administrative Assistant prepares a wide variety of recurring and nonrecurring correspondence, reports and other documents and reviews and finalizes correspondence prepared by others.


Qualifications and Evaluations

Requirements:

EXPERIENCE: One year of clerical, administrative, office management or data entry work experience is required.


JOB KNOWLEDGE: Good working knowledge of using Microsoft office software is required.

Education Requirements:

Completion of Secondary School


Evaluations:

LANGUAGE: Level IV (fluent) in speaking/reading/writing of English is required. (This will be tested).

SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ability to Adapt in a rapidly changing work environment is required.

Locally Employed Staff, including Members of Household (MOHs), and Third-Country Nationals (TCNs), working at the U.S. Mission in Cairo/ Egypt may receive a compensation package that may include health, end of service benefits, insurance, and other benefits.

Per a special and temporary authorization, the salary is currently denominated in U.S. dollars and paid in EGP at the applicable rate of exchange according to the State Department Payroll Offices official international currency exchange rate. When the conditions are met that the special and temporary authorization should be removed, the salary scale will revert to denomination and payment in EGP, as previously authorized.

For EFMs, benefits should be discussed with the Human Resources Office.

The pay plan is assigned at the time of the conditional offer letter by the HR Office.
