Responsibilities:
Provide full details and breakdown analysis on all payments.
Relies on a good knowledge of accounting, tax and finance rules, processes and techniques, along with a comprehensive understanding of legal requirements affecting accounting, tax, and financial transactions and record-keeping.
Prepares monthly close and year-end close and preparation of monthly and year-end financial reports.
Needs skill set to be able to supervise other accounting staff in the future.
Manages accounts payable process, sets up new general ledger accounts, reconciles, and closes the monthly books.
Manages the company payroll process and coordinates with HR to ensure accuracy including reconciliation of benefits, pay changes, deductions, etc. to ensure accurate posting to the general ledger.
Will work closely with and provide financial analyses to the business management group and management.
Requirements:
More than 2 years of experience
Must have experience in accounting for the tourism industry
English and Arabic writing
BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
Good at MS office (word. Excel, PPT).
Excellent time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and multiple deadlines.
Highly effective in utilizing technology to make processes and reporting more efficient.
