Role Purpose
Leading the external communication between the PR and Consumer business Unit, Sustainability, Foundation and Technology/Networks, Ensuring on going alignment, Updates briefs on new launch/projects and driving commercial benefits to our organization with maximum acceleration of each segment Agenda. In addition, to ensure keeping Vodafone reputation at its best.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership
PR. Function Accountabilities
Leading all communication between the PR and the Consumer business unit, Sustainability, Foundation and Technology/Networks and managing launch dates of (Products, services, etc.)
Ongoing alignment with the Consumer Business Unit with all its Sub departments (Mass, Aspiring, High Value, IN, Product and service, Digital, Retail, Sales, Activation) and to be always prepared with a PR plan, hence it is a fast dynamic segment.
Ongoing alignment with the Technology/Networks segment and insuring continuance preparation for the 4G & 5G announcements.
Promoting Vodafone Image by visualising the Sustainable business & Foundation strategy, and showing the social responsibility role presented by Vodafone.
Arranging a PR plan according to the Product/Service, which includes the organisation of events, Press release, press conferences and prioritising what should require media coverage.
Responsible of managing the PR budget for each campaign within the assigned segments.
Evaluating the events requirements, checking stakeholder interests if required events would be Small, Medium or Big events.
Sending to the assigned segments a coverage report to demonstrate the achievements made through the PR department, and the impact gained post finalising the required events.
Managing and updating the calendar, on monthly basis, getting inputs from key stakeholders and keeping it to the highest level of confidentially.
