• Must oversee monthly close, review journal entries, reconciliations, and variance explanations
• Ensure all accounting transactions are performed correctly and on time
• Confirm that transactions are accurately recorded in the accounting system
• Ensure supplier invoices are reconciled and payments are made
• Reconcile financial transactions on a monthly basis
• Compare actuals with the budget and determine reasons for variances monthly.
• Prepare year-end financial statements.
• Prepare reports for the finance management team.
• Check cost center expenses and compare them against the budget.
• Monitor and supervise mid-level and senior accountants.
  
  

Qualifications

• 
  
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• 2-3 years of experience in the finance industry.
• IFRS certification is a plus.
