Job Accountabilities
- Conduct Desktop investigations for assigned clients (mainly through online investigation and capitalizing on various sources) to gather and obtain updated information which may have an effect on the assigned client.
- Review Industry Analysis Report to have a better understanding of the client’s situation
- Obtaining and checking Protest and Bankruptcy report for assigned client
- Review client documents to make sure that all required documents are valid and not expired.
- Analyzing the ACP situation of the client Extracted from the CBE Portal.
- Extracting and Analyzing I-Score Reports of the assigned client
- Prepare detailed investigation reports for the suppliers and drawers of our borrowing corporate / SMEs clients.
- Conduct field / site visits to large corporate and SME client’s premises (existing and new to bank) to validate and ensure that the provided information (i.e collaterals) are valid.
- Prepare full and accurate investigation reports for existing and new to bank clients for large corporate and SMEs and remedial clients through variable sources of information to maintain a healthy credit portfolio.
- Send Investigation report to the concerned Units and Departments and Finally archive the case
- Follow all relevant approved department’s policies, and procedures and monitor adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.
- Follow the day-to-day operations related to own jobs in the department to ensure continuity of work
- Comply with all relevant CBE regulations, banking laws, AML regulations and internal EG Bank policies and code of conduct to maintain EG Bank’s sound legal position and mitigate any potential risks
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business administration, accounting or any related field.
- For the Investigator role 1-3 years of experience with preferred experience in the investigation field.
- Credit Course to be considered as an asset.
