Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Respond to complex customer inquiries and resolve escalated customer issues with urgency.
- Provide a superior level of customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and build loyalty.
- Assist customers with payment-related queries, including redemption of credit card points and gift vouchers.
Cash Management:
- Perform general cashiering duties such as scanning items, collecting payments, verifying payment methods, and creating customer accounts as needed.
- Accept various payment methods, including cash, checks, credit cards, and wire transfers, and process transactions according to company guidelines.
- Maintain accurate cash handling by balancing cash drawers at the start and end of each shift, ensuring nil variance.
- Control and distribute startup money, loose change, and additional cash requirements during operations.
- Arrange daily cash deposits by verifying cash sales amounts and preparing deposit slips for banks.
- Perform cash counting in the presence of transparency and address any shortages or discrepancies with immediate adjustments.
