Key responsibilities may include:
- Timekeeping system administration:
- Overseeing the time and attendance system, including employee logins, time punches, and ensuring accurate data entry.
- Leave management:
- Processing employee leave requests (vacation, sick days, personal days), ensuring proper documentation and adherence to company policies.
- Attendance monitoring:
- Actively tracking employee attendance patterns, identifying trends of absenteeism or tardiness, and escalating issues to HR as needed.
- Report generation:
- Creating detailed reports on employee time and attendance data for payroll, workforce planning, and management analysis.
- Employee communication:
- Addressing employee queries regarding timekeeping policies, leave balances, and attendance concerns.
- Policy enforcement:
- Ensuring compliance with company time and attendance policies, including overtime regulations and work hour limitations.
