Key responsibilities may include:

  • Timekeeping system administration:
  • Overseeing the time and attendance system, including employee logins, time punches, and ensuring accurate data entry.
  • Leave management:
  • Processing employee leave requests (vacation, sick days, personal days), ensuring proper documentation and adherence to company policies.
  • Attendance monitoring:
  • Actively tracking employee attendance patterns, identifying trends of absenteeism or tardiness, and escalating issues to HR as needed.
  • Report generation:
  • Creating detailed reports on employee time and attendance data for payroll, workforce planning, and management analysis.
  • Employee communication:
  • Addressing employee queries regarding timekeeping policies, leave balances, and attendance concerns.
  • Policy enforcement:
  • Ensuring compliance with company time and attendance policies, including overtime regulations and work hour limitations.
  • Data analysis:
  • Analyzing attendance trends to identify potential areas for improvement and suggest corrective actions.
  • System troubleshooting:
  • Identifying and resolving issues within the timekeeping system.

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in using timekeeping systems and HR software
