Role Description – Travel Advisor (Sales Agent)

 

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Travel Advisor (Sales Agent) based in Cairo, Egypt. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and providing exceptional travel consultation to clients. Your primary goal is to convert leads into bookings by offering tailored travel solutions that meet customers' needs and preferences.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Engage with potential customers through calls, emails, and in-person consultations to understand their travel requirements.
  • Promote and sell flight tickets, hotel reservations, holiday packages, and other travel services while maximizing upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Provide expert advice on destinations, visa requirements, travel insurance, and itinerary planning.
  • Ensure outstanding customer service by handling inquiries, resolving complaints, and offering post-booking support.
  • Work within a target-driven sales environment, consistently meeting or exceeding monthly and quarterly sales goals.
  • Maintain strong relationships with airline and hotel partners to secure the best deals for clients.
  • Stay updated with the latest travel industry trends, promotions, and regulations to provide accurate information to customers.
  • Utilize CRM systems and booking platforms efficiently to manage customer data, reservations, and follow-ups.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Skills:

 

  • Previous experience in sales, customer service, or the travel industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills to convert inquiries into bookings.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, or Galileo) is a plus.
  • Passion for travel and a customer-centric mindset.
