Roles & Responsibilities
What you will need to do:
- Overall management of procurement activities & resources for all different disciplines (Procurement, Subcontract, Expediting and Logistics).
- Ensure a close, continuous and efficient interface with Engineering, Project Control, Construction, Quality and Stores dept
- Ensure commercial, legal and contractual compliances in all the procurement transactions.
- Strategies and lead commercial and contractual negotiations developed for Project.
- Monitor and maintain a full compliance with the Company Procurement Procedures.
- Maintain proper management of Vendors Assessment and Supplier Performance Management.
- Manage Project Procurement Team
What you will need to have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized and reputed University.
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management & Logistics.
- 15 years’ experience in the Procurement field including minimum 3-5 years as Procurement Manager or Supply Chain Manager.
- Good knowledge of ERP systems and any other related software
- Professional working proficiency (written and oral) of English language and Arabic added advantage.
What it is nice to have:
- Previous experience in large EPC Construction projects (Marine or Civil Infrastructure) including significant Civil, Mechanical and Electrical works.
- Previous experience in Middle East and proven knowledge of the Oman supplier market Preferred.
