Role Overview:

The Sales Director is the commercial engine of Mighty Foods — leading revenue growth, market share gains, and profitable distribution across all channels: Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, Wholesale, Convenience, E-commerce, HoReCa, and Export.
As the architect of market execution, they ensure Mighty Foods’ brands are consistently present, visible, and available at every point of sale, while maximizing profitability and cultivating long-term partnerships with customers and trade partners.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategy & Leadership

* Develop the annual sales strategy and cascade it into channel, region, and customer plans.

* Design and optimize route-to-market models to maximize reach, efficiency, and profitability.

* Anticipate market trends and competitor moves, adjusting strategy to defend and grow share.

* Champion a “Shelf-is-Everything” culture across the sales organization.

2. Commercial & Financial

* Own the full sales P&L, including revenue, trade spend, gross margin, and contribution margin.

* Negotiate strategic customer contracts and Joint Business Plans (JBPs).

* Optimize pricing architecture, discounts, and promotional mechanics to drive sustainable ROI.


3. Channel & Customer Development


* Build and execute tailored sales strategies per channel (Modern Trade, Traditional Trade, E-commerce, Convenience, HoReCa).

* Develop a retail-door segmentation model to prioritize high-volume and high-potential outlets.

* Lead category management initiatives with retailers to secure shelf share and planogram compliance.

* Collaborate with Marketing and Trade Marketing to design shopper promotions, activations, and in-store materials.


4. Distribution & Execution

* Develop and implement execution standards and best-practice guidelines per retail-door cluster.

* Secure listings, on-shelf availability, and visibility agreements.

* Ensure planogram compliance, secondary placements, and in-store excellence.

* Lead Perfect Store programs to win in-store execution battles.


5. Data & Performance Management

* Establish structured tracking systems, dashboards, and scorecards to monitor KPIs across sales, distribution, and SKU performance.


* Use data from retail audits, ERP, Repzo, and POS sell-out reports to guide strategy and execution.

* Lead monthly business reviews with the leadership team and quarterly reviews with key customers.

* Use analytics to optimize assortment, pricing, promotions, and channel profitability.

6. People Leadership & Capability Building

* Set clear KPIs, commission structures, and performance review cycles.

* Define field sales performance standards — coverage, visit frequency, and merchandising excellence.

* Build, coach, and inspire a high-performing sales organization.

* Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.

* Invest in ongoing capability programs (negotiation, category management, merchandising, and data-led selling).



What We’re Looking For

• * 10+ years of FMCG sales experience, including at least 5 years in leadership roles.

* Proven success in driving growth and building brands through flawless market execution.

* Strong network and relationships across Modern Trade, distributors, and key accounts in Egypt.

* Ability to combine strategic vision with operational excellence.
* Entrepreneurial mindset, resilience, and a hands-on

leadership style.
* Passion for building brands that consumers love.
