Job Purpose:

To assist in coordinating and managing project activities between various departments (design, execution, procurement, and site teams) to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and according to approved technical specifications and quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and communicate effectively between site teams, consultants, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with project objectives.
  • Monitor project schedules, track milestones, and prepare regular progress reports comparing actual achievements against planned targets.
  • Review and verify shop drawings, technical submittals, and specifications prior to submission for approval to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Assist in the preparation, review, and updating of Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and quantities of executed works.
  • Manage and follow up on material and equipment submittals to ensure timely approvals and adherence to technical specifications.
  • Coordinate with the procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment in line with the project schedule.
  • Support the Project Manager in project planning, resource allocation, risk assessment, and overall project control.
  • Participate in progress meetings with consultants and clients, follow up on inspection requests, and ensure timely resolution of site issues.
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, reports, and records in accordance with company standards.
  • Ensure that all quality, health, safety, and environmental standards are implemented and maintained throughout all project phases

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering
  • 4–7 years of experience in construction or contracting companies.
  • Solid knowledge of project management principles and scheduling tools (Primavera / MS Project).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with consultant procedures and standard construction specifications.
