Job Description
- Oversee the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems within assigned facilities.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams for timely execution of MEP-related projects and repairs.
- Prepare and review technical reports, maintenance logs, and compliance documentation.
- Identify and implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainability practices in line with company objectives.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and provide effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Assist in the planning and execution of facility upgrades, renovations, and new installations.
- Ensure all MEP activities adhere to relevant codes, standards, and best practices.
- Support the training and development of junior staff and technicians.
- Collaborate with the facilities management team to deliver integrated service excellence.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in MEP engineering within facilities management or a similar environment.
- Proven expertise in the operation and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Strong knowledge of industry codes, standards, and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in using maintenance management systems and relevant engineering software.
- Demonstrated commitment to operational excellence and sustainability.
- Willingness to work on-site as per organizational requirements.
