Job Description
Job Purpose:
Responsible for designing, supervising, and maintaining mechanical systems and installations within construction projects, ensuring compliance with design standards and safety codes.
Key Responsibilities:
- • Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire-fighting).
- • Review and approve mechanical drawings and materials.
- • Ensure mechanical works meet project specifications and standards.
- • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and contractors.
- • Conduct inspections and prepare related documentation.
- • Prepare quantity take-offs and cost estimates for mechanical works.
- • Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure quality compliance.
- • Assist in resolving mechanical technical issues.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
- • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction or MEP projects.
- • Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems.
- • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and mechanical design software.
- • Strong understanding of local and international codes.
