 Acquisition & Portfolio Lead (Existing Clients Required)

Job Description

Blacktape is seeking a Client Acquisition & Portfolio Lead whose primary responsibility is to bring confirmed clients and close deals directly with Blacktape. This role is not lead generation or cold outreach. It is a senior commercial position for someone who already operates within strong networks and can immediately translate relationships into signed projects.

The ideal candidate has an active portfolio of clients—brands, agencies, corporates, or institutions—ready to engage in event production, creative experiences, digital solutions, or integrated campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Onboard existing clients into Blacktape projects and retain long-term partnerships
  • Lead client negotiations, scopes, and commercial discussions until deal closure
  • Act as the primary commercial interface between the client and Blacktape’s internal teams
  • Identify upsell and cross-service opportunities across Blacktape divisions
  • Maintain high-level client relationships aligned with Blacktape’s premium positioning
  • Ensure smooth handover from sales to execution while protecting client satisfaction

Mandatory Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

  • Proven ability to bring ready clients at the time of hiring
  • Existing relationships with decision-makers (marketing heads, brand managers, founders, or procurement leads)
  • Strong closing and negotiation skills
  • Experience in events, production, creative agencies, digital, or related industries

Preferred Background

  • Agency or production house experience
  • Understanding of large-scale events, branding, or experiential marketing
  • Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision
