Job Description

  • Conduct comprehensive external audits for a diverse portfolio of clients in accordance with Egyptian and international auditing standards.
  • Evaluate clients’ financial statements, accounting records, and internal controls to ensure accuracy, compliance, and integrity.
  • Identify and communicate audit findings, risks, and recommendations to clients and management in a clear and professional manner.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and documentation, ensuring all working papers are complete and compliant with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with client teams to gather necessary information and resolve audit-related queries efficiently.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of audit engagements, including risk assessment and audit strategy development.
  • Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements relevant to audit assignments.
  • Support clients during tax inspections, financial statement closures, and resolution of disputes with tax authorities.
  • Train and mentor junior audit staff, fostering knowledge sharing and professional development.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold the highest ethical standards throughout all audit processes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years and up to 8 years of relevant experience in external auditing.
  • Extensive knowledge of Egyptian accounting and auditing standards, as well as international standards (IFRS).
  • Proven experience in handling audit engagements for various industries.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities for effective client interaction.
  • Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and commitment to ethical practices.
  • Willingness to work on-site at client locations as required.
