1. Position Overview

Oversee and elevate the quality of all written content at SAKAN. In this role, you will ensure that our bilingual (Arabic/English) content — across marketing materials, website copy, blog articles, social media, and partnership communications — is clear, consistent, engaging, and aligned with SAKAN’s brand voice and PropTech mission. You will work closely with content creators, marketers, and product teams to maintain the highest standards of accuracy and professionalism.


2. Responsibilities & Duties

Content Quality & Consistency

  • Review, edit, and proofread all outgoing bilingual content for grammar, tone, clarity, and brand alignment.
  • Ensure content is accurate, user-focused, and optimized for SEO and readability.
  • Maintain and update SAKAN’s style guide and glossaries (Arabic/English) to ensure consistency across platforms.

Content Strategy & Collaboration

  • Work with the content and marketing teams to plan content calendars and ensure timely delivery of edited materials.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (product, legal, partnerships) to verify technical and regulatory accuracy.
  • Support the creation of high-quality editorial content related to PropTech, real estate trends, and SAKAN’s partnerships.

Brand Voice & Messaging

  • Uphold and refine SAKAN’s brand voice across all channels — professional, trustworthy, innovative, and user-centric.
  • Edit and polish content for campaigns, newsletters, press releases, and website updates.

Process Improvement & Training

  • Develop and implement efficient editing workflows and approval processes.
  • Provide constructive feedback and occasional training to content creators to improve writing quality over time.


3. Qualification and Skills:

Education

  • Diploma or similar Equivalent Certification

Experience

  • 3–4+ years of professional editing experience, preferably in digital content, publishing, or marketing.
  • Experience in real estate, PropTech, fintech, or related industries is a strong advantage.
  • Demonstrated portfolio of edited content in both Arabic and English.

Skills

  • Exceptional command of Arabic and English grammar, syntax, and style.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and consistency.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and digital content formats (blogs, social media, newsletters).
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple editing projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency with editing tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Google Docs, Grammarly, Hemingway Editor).
  • Collaborative mindset with strong communication and feedback skills.
