About the role:
We are seeking an experienced Engineer (5+ years of experience) with strong Python scripting skills and hands-on experience working exclusively with Large Language Models (LLMs) and state-of-the-art (SOTA) agent-based systems. The ideal candidate has built, experimented with, and scaled LLM-driven solutions, and is comfortable working with web scraping and data ingestion pipelines to support AI applications.
Pay Rate: $1,200 per month (with 40 hours per week commitment)
Contract Duration: 18 months (with possible extension)
Requirements:
5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer
Strong proficiency in Python scripting and development
Hands-on experience working primarily or exclusively with LLMs and SOTA agent systems
Experience with web scraping, data extraction, and pre processing
Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and code quality
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Python-based scripts and services for LLM- and agent-driven systems
Design, build, and optimize SOTA LLM workflows and autonomous agent architectures
Implement and maintain web scraping pipelines for structured and unstructured data collection
Analyse, debug, and improve agent behaviour, prompt logic, and system reliability
Integrate LLM-based components into end-to-end application workflows
Ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability of AI-focused systems
Stay current with advancements in LLMs, agent frameworks, and applied AI techniques
Bonus Skills:
Experience with multi-agent architectures for analytics or automation
Background in RAG pipelines and model evaluation frameworks
Custom tool creation or integration with model-controller interfaces
Familiarity with GDPR compliance requirements

Contractor position (no medical/paid leave)
Full-time dedication (40 hours/week)
5-hour overlap with PST
