Company Description
Cisco Systems is seeking a Junior Agile Coach / Business Analyst to support Agile teams while helping translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who enjoys working with people, understanding business problems, and helping teams deliver value using Agile practices. You will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and delivery teams, supporting both Agile execution and business analysis activities.
Role Description
Support Agile teams by facilitating Scrum ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Help teams apply Agile principles and best practices to improve collaboration, transparency, and delivery
Work with stakeholders to gather, clarify, and document business requirements
Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and backlog items
Assist Product Owners with backlog grooming, prioritization, and refinement
Identify and help remove blockers, risks, and dependencies impacting delivery
Analyze current processes and help recommend process improvements
Track and communicate basic Agile and delivery metrics (velocity, burn-down, cycle time)
Support communication between business, product, and technical teams to ensure shared understanding
Promote continuous improvement, learning, and a collaborative team culture
Qualifications
Foundational understanding of Agile/Scrum concepts
Basic knowledge of business analysis practices (requirements gathering, user stories, process mapping)
Some experience working on Agile projects (academic, internship, or junior role)
Strong communication, listening, and documentation skills
Ability to ask good questions and think from a business and user perspective
Comfortable working with cross-functional teams (business, product, engineering)
Eagerness to learn and grow in Agile coaching and business analysis
Agile or BA certifications (CSM, SAFe, ECBA, or similar) are a plus but not required
