Role Description

This is a contract on-site role for a Shopify Website Designer, located in Cairo. The Shopify Website Designer will be responsible for designing, developing, and customizing Shopify websites to meet client needs. Daily tasks include creating visually appealing layouts, implementing responsive designs, integrating applications and plugins, optimizing website performance, and ensuring UX/UI best practices are met. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with the marketing team to align website designs with branding and marketing goals.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Shopify platform, Shopify theme customization, and Shopify app integration
• Experience in web design, including UX/UI design and responsive design principles
• Skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and familiarity with Liquid programming language
• Ability to troubleshoot and provide technical solutions for website-related issues
• Strong attention to detail and an eye for design aesthetics
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills
• Previous experience in an agency or e-commerce setting is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
