Sustainability & ESG Reporting

• Lead the preparation of annual sustainability and ESG reports, ensuring alignment with international frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB).
• Support materiality assessments and maintain alignment with industry best practices.

Coordinate data collection, validation, and analysis for sustainability KPIs.

Stakeholder Engagement & Compliance

• Collaborate with clients, regulators, and certifying bodies to ensure compliance with environmental and social requirements.
• Drive sustainability awareness across the organization through training, workshops, and communications.
• Establish and implement internal key performance indicators that align with Saudi green initiatives and the nationally determined contributions.
• Support external assurance processes and contribute to sustainability programs such as the Sustainability Champion Program.

Sustainability Excellence & Innovation

• Provide sustainability input into rig design evaluations, procurement, and operations.
• Assess and recommend emerging technologies that improve efficiency, safety, and environmental performance.
• Support HSE and operational teams in embedding sustainable practices into daily operations.

Energy Management & Efficiency

• Develop, implement, and monitor energy management systems aligned with ISO 50001.
• Identify opportunities for energy cost optimization and reduction of fuel consumption in drilling operations.
• Ensure compliance with Aramco and government approvals for new technologies.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience in operations and sustainability within the oil and gas sector.
• Relevant certifications such as ISO 14001, Certified Sustainability Professional (CSP) are advantageous or any professional certifications, such as those offered by the Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment (IEMA).
• Excellent communication skills for engaging leadership, regulators, and stakeholders.
• Experience in reporting, audits, and compliance assurance.

Minimum of 10 years of experience in related field, 3-5 years in sustainability.
