Technical Engineering Manager

(hands-on, outcome-driven role)

The Technical Manager will lead a cross-functional team (developers and QA), taking full ownership of technical direction, product architecture, and delivery outcomes.

This role is hands-on and strategic, responsible for shaping system design, improving stability, and ensuring strong alignment between the team and other engineering groups. The Technical Manager is accountable for outcomes, not just execution, and is expected to actively leverage AI-driven thinking and tools to improve productivity, quality, and decision-making.

Core Responsibilities

Technical Leadership & Architecture

• Own and evolve the product architecture and key technical decisions
• Ensure system stability, scalability, and maintainability
• Review and guide complex design and implementation work
• Act as the technical authority for the team

Team Leadership (Dev & QA)

• Lead, mentor, and support developers and QA engineers
• Create a stable, high-performing team environment
• Balance delivery, quality, and technical excellence
• Drive clear technical standards and best practices

Delivery & Outcome Ownership

• Own delivery outcomes, not just tasks
• Ensure predictable releases and high-quality output
• Improve cross-team coordination and alignment with dependent teams
• Act as the main technical escalation point

AI-Driven Mindset & Modern Practices

• Apply AI-assisted development practices to improve velocity and quality
• Encourage data-driven decisions and automation
• Continuously identify opportunities to optimize engineering workflows
