 Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated Moderator for a full-time, on-site role located in Alexandria. The Moderator will be responsible for monitoring online or community platforms to ensure compliance with guidelines, fostering positive interactions, and addressing conflicts or inappropriate behavior. Daily responsibilities include reviewing content, engaging with users, enforcing community standards, and providing feedback for platform improvements. The Moderator will collaborate with the team to maintain a respectful and inclusive online environment.

 Qualifications

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and manage diverse audiences effectively

Attention to detail, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities to enforce guidelines accurately and fairly

Proficiency in using online platforms, content management tools, and moderation software

Problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve disputes or conflicts in a professional manner

Knowledge of online community dynamics, cultural sensitivities, and best practices in content moderation

Ability to work collaboratively with a team in an on-site setting and adapt to a fast-paced environment

Experience in community management or a related field is preferred

Bachelor's degree in communication, sociology, or a related field is advantageous
