Job Description
- Monitor and analyze daily, weekly, and monthly F&B costs to ensure alignment with budgeted targets.
- Develop and implement cost control procedures and systems for food and beverage operations.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies to maintain accurate stock records.
- Collaborate with procurement and kitchen teams to optimize purchasing and minimize waste.
- Prepare detailed cost reports and present actionable insights to management.
- Track and analyze variances in food and beverage costs, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
- Support menu engineering by evaluating item profitability and suggesting pricing adjustments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards regarding cost management.
- Assist in forecasting and budgeting processes for F&B departments.
- Train and support operational staff on cost control best practices and procedures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of proven experience in cost control, preferably within the F&B industry.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in cost control software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Solid understanding of inventory management and procurement processes.
- Demonstrated ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and implement solutions.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
