We’re hiring a Conversational AI Developer to build human-like AI phone agents that handle real conversations end-to-end: answering inbound calls, calling leads, qualifying prospects, booking appointments, and updating internal systems automatically.

This is a builder role—you’ll design voice experiences, implement call flows, integrate APIs, and continuously improve performance using real call data.


✅ Fluency in English is a Must (C1 and above: spoken & written)

📍 On-site: El Rehab City, New Cairo

🕒 Shift: 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Fixed)

📆 Weekends: (Saturday and Sunday Fixed)

💰 Net Salary: 35,000-45,000 EGP based on experience.



What You’ll Build

AI voice agents that can:

  • Answer inbound calls and route intelligently
  • Place outbound calls to leads and follow up
  • Ask qualifying questions and capture structured responses
  • Handle objections naturally and stay on-script
  • Book appointments via calendar integrations
  • Log call outcomes and update CRM records automatically
  • Escalate to a human when needed with full context



Core Responsibilities

  • Build and deploy voice agents using Retell AI, Vapi, Bland AI, and/or Synthflow
  • Design conversation flows: greeting → intent detection → qualification → action → wrap-up
  • Create and maintain agent prompts, tools/functions, memory rules, and guardrails
  • Implement call routing, transfer logic, fallback behaviors, and error handling
  • Integrate voice agents with business systems:
  • CRMs (GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Salesforce, custom)
  • Calendars (Google Calendar, Calendly, Outlook)
  • Messaging (SMS/email confirmations via Twilio/SendGrid)
  • Webhooks/APIs for internal tools
  • Build evaluation + improvement loops:
  • review call recordings/transcripts
  • identify failure patterns (hallucination, bad turn-taking, wrong tool calls)
  • improve prompts, flows, and data extraction
  • Ensure compliance and quality:
  • consent/disclosure handling (as required)
  • data privacy best practices
  • latency and reliability monitoring



Required Experience

  • 2+ years building conversational AI (chat and/or voice)
  • Hands-on experience with at least one:
  • Retell AI, Vapi, Bland AI, Synthflow
  • Strong prompt engineering skills for multi-turn conversations
  • Practical experience with:
  • tool/function calling patterns
  • structured data extraction from conversations
  • webhook-driven integrations
  • Solid backend integration skills (one or more):
  • Node.js / TypeScript, Python, REST APIs, JSON, OAuth
  • Familiarity with telephony concepts:
  • call flows, transfers, voicemail handling, DTMF, timeouts, retries



Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience tuning ASR/TTS behavior, interruption handling, and latency reduction
  • Experience with RAG / knowledge base grounding for accurate answers
  • Experience with call center metrics: conversion rate, appointment rate, containment, AHT
  • Familiarity with prompt testing frameworks / eval tooling
  • Experience deploying on AWS/GCP (Lambda, Cloud Functions, queues, webhooks)



What Success Looks Like (First 2 Weeks)

  • Ship 1–2 production-grade voice agents for a defined workflow
  • Integrate end-to-end: CRM + calendar + notifications + call logging
  • Establish a weekly optimization loop using real call transcripts
  • Improve key metrics (booking rate, qualification accuracy, handoff quality)
