About the Role

We are seeking a meticulous Software QA / Test Engineer to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and performance of our intelligent video analytics solutions. In this role, you will go beyond traditional software testing by evaluating both our MEAN/MERN-based web interfaces and the underlying AI computer vision models. You will play a critical part in guaranteeing that our deployments process video data accurately and efficiently in real-time.

What You’ll Do

• Comprehensive Testing: Design, develop, and execute automated and manual test plans for both web applications (frontend/backend) and AI-driven video analytics modules.
• AI Model Evaluation: Test computer vision models for accuracy, edge cases, and false positive/negative rates using established video datasets.
• Performance Testing: Conduct load and stress testing on real-time video streaming systems to identify bottlenecks and ensure low-latency inference.
• API & Integration Testing: Verify seamless data flow between the AI inference engines, backend databases (MongoDB), and front-end dashboards.
• Bug Tracking & Reporting: Document defects clearly, track bugs through resolution, and work closely with developers to troubleshoot complex issues in containerized environments.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 2–3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance or Automated Testing.
• Automated Testing: Strong experience with test automation frameworks for web and APIs (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, PyTest, Postman).
• Programming: Proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript to write robust test scripts.
• AI/Data Testing: Basic understanding of machine learning evaluation metrics (precision, recall, F1-score) and experience testing data-heavy applications.
• Environment Familiarity: Comfortable testing applications deployed in Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes environments.
• Video/Streaming Knowledge: Familiarity with testing video playback, streaming protocols, or computer vision outputs is highly desirable.
• Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate technical issues clearly.
