Key Results Areas



Budgets and Plans


  • Contribute to the preparation of the marketing budget and monitor financial performance versus the budget so that the business is aware of anticipated costs/revenues and areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified.
  • Budgets and plans are prepared timely and accurately in line with the annual budget parameters and timescales
  • Financial variance versus budget

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures


  • Recommend improvements to policy and direct the implementation of instructions covering all areas of marketing activity so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service
  • Compliance with procedural and legislative requirements
  • Effective communication of policies, procedures and instructions

Marketing Plan


  • Assist in the development of the marketing plan for the brand(s), and get exposed to the proposed strategies that will enable the achievement of market share, volume and profit objectives.
  • Effective implementation of the marketing plan.

Marketing operations


  •   Consistently ensure that the marketing mix of the brand(s) is directed towards the regular elevation of the consumer brand equity.
  • Work closely with the advertising and media agencies towards the communication of key brand messages through creative advertising campaign execution and implementation that serve the overall brand strategic direction.
  • Handle the thorough implementation of all consumer and trade related activities in the market.
  • Follow up on sales volume achievement and targets.   
  • Effective implantation of the brand(s) marketing mix.   
  • Effective communication of key brand messages to advertising and media agencies.


  • Thorough implementation of consumer and trade promotions.
  • Daily  monitoring report about  sales rates as well as consumer off-take levels from outlets in addition to regular trade visits output.

Brand Analysis


  • Collect, report and analyze periodical data from the market relevant to market trends and trade channels and norms.  This also involves market intelligence and consistent competitive monitoring, related to brands, prices, activities and so on.
  • Collect, analyse and recommend media data, as well as identify proper and efficient media vehicles.
  • Prepare and deliver several reports " a product management tool kit", and circulate to the relevant stakeholders, including details of market trends, brands price monitoring, competitive activities on both the trade and the consumer levels, new launches, and so on.


  • The consistent monitoring of the main KPI's in addition to other pointers such as  market size, market shares, distribution levels and brands' performance.
  • A Weekly price monitoring is existent .
  • Frequent trade visits.


  • Creative recommendation for media support breakdown, vehicle allocation, and budget breakdowns.
  • Identification of feasible and creative new media vehicles.
  • A detailed report about market trends, brands price monitoring, competitive activities on both the trade and the consumer levels, new launches, and so on is sent frequently to direct manager .

Standards & Regulations


  • Ensure that all activities are monitored and regulatory compliance audits and inspections are conducted for an effective implementation of regulatory standards
  • Compliance with regulations and effective implementation of standards

Projects


  • Supervise the implementation of projects to ensure that the project cycle is completed, meeting agreed project parameters (cost budget, timelines, scope and quality), standards and objectives
  • The project cycle is completed in line with plans and agreed project parameters and standards

Continuous Improvement


  • Stimulate subordinates and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of section systems, processes and practices taking into account ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement
  • Number and quality of improvements are line with corporate expectations and implemented

Health, Safety, & Environment


  • Monitor the adherence to all relevant safety and environmental management procedures and controls to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude
  • Frequency of non-compliance with standards, local legislation and company policies on HSE
  • Frequency of safety incidents
