Job Description

• Plan and oversee all maintenance operations on the poultry farm, including buildings, electrical systems, ventilation systems, water supply, feeding systems, and generators.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for equipment and infrastructure.
• Supervise and coordinate the work of maintenance staff and contractors.
• Inspect and troubleshoot malfunctioning systems and equipment, ensuring timely and cost-effective repairs.
• Maintain records of maintenance work, repairs, and equipment usage.
• Monitor inventory of tools, equipment, and spare parts; coordinate procurement as needed.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and biosecurity standards.
• Support farm operations by ensuring minimal disruption due to equipment failure.
• Provide training to maintenance staff on equipment handling and safety protocols.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in poultry  farms.
• Strong knowledge of farm equipment, electrical systems, water systems, and HVAC.
• Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and maintenance management software.
• Understanding of biosecurity protocols in animal farming is a plus.
