Context
Electrical Engineer
Missions/Main Duties
Responsible for reviewing and coordinating the design and implementation of lighting, power distribution, Fire alarm, Emergency lighting, Earthing and Lightning protection, ELV systems, ensuring compliance with Dubai/UAE, CIBSE, international standards (e.g., IEC, BS, DEWA,DCD, etc.).
Coordinates with multidisciplinary teams to integrate electrical systems with MEP, architectural, and civil works, and manages interface with others disciplines.
HVAC, Fire fighting, Dewatering, Escalator/Elevator and power supply systems.
Prepares and reviews technical documentation, calculation notes, cable schedules, shop drawings.
Profile/Skills
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Relevant certifications and experiences with Duabi regulatory requirements are an advantage.
Background
Minimum 8 years of experience i in the design, of electrical systems, preferably on metro rail or large infrastructure projects.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Software knowledge on ETAP/Amtech/Dialux/Relux and Review knowledge on Revit/Navisworks
Strong knowledge of medium/low voltage distribution, lighting controls, electrical load calculations, and local authority approval processes is required.
Successful track record on rail and metro projects
Ability to lead, develop and motivate a team
Preferably with UAE experience, GCC experience would be advantageous
