Job Description

• Review client tender documents (specifications, drawings, BOQs) related to fire fighting and suppression systems.
• Prepare and develop technical proposals, including equipment sizing, hydraulic calculations, and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate with the design team to develop system layouts, material take-offs, and concept drawings.
• Prepare commercial proposals in coordination with the estimation and procurement teams.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards (NFPA, FM, UL, local codes).
• Conduct site visits and surveys to gather data required for accurate proposal development.
• Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations, conduct cost comparisons, and prepare breakdown cost estimates.
• Support technical and commercial clarifications, and participate in client/supplier meetings as needed.
• Assist in preparing proposal documentation, presentations, and internal review materials.
• Track tender status, follow up on clarifications, and support contract handover to execution teams.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 1–4 years of experience in tendering or proposals for mechanical fire fighting systems
• Solid understanding of NFPA standards, FM/UL-listed equipment, and hydraulic design principles
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD and hydraulic calculation software (e.g., Elite Fire, PipeNet)
• Experience in oil & gas, infrastructure, or industrial projects preferred
• Strong documentation and commercial acumen
