KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Strategic Planning & Brand Communication
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing communication strategies to support brand awareness, product positioning, and sales growth.
- Define and refine brand voice and messaging frameworks tailored to B2C audiences across various consumer segments.
- Lead seasonal and product-specific campaigns with a focus on high-impact storytelling and market differentiation.
Product Launch & Lifecycle Marketing
- Collaborate with product teams to craft compelling product narratives, launch plans, and go-to-market strategies.
- Create and manage marketing toolkits, including product brochures, sales enablement content, user manuals, and point-of-sale materials.
- Coordinate across channels to synchronize product messaging in retail environments, online platforms, and partner ecosystems.
Digital Marketing & Content Strategy
- Oversee content development across all digital platforms including website, email marketing, social media, blogs, and influencer marketing.
- Ensure SEO best practices are integrated into digital content to maximize visibility and consumer engagement.
- Manage e-commerce and performance marketing teams to align brand messaging with digital advertising and direct-to-consumer efforts.
Retail & Channel Marketing Support
- Design marketing communications that support sell-through at retail partners (brand shops, retailers).
- Develop co-branded campaigns and retail activations in collaboration with key partners.
- Customize communication materials for different markets, audiences, and store formats (e.g., in-store signage, shelf-talkers, training guides).
Media, PR & Influencer Engagement
- Manage public relations efforts including media outreach, press releases, and spokesperson support.
- Identify and manage influencer and ambassador partnerships aligned with brand values and target demographics.
- Collaborate with PR agencies to ensure consistent brand narrative and timely media placements.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead a team of communication specialists, content creators, and/or external vendors and agencies.
- Serve as a cross-functional liaison with product development, sales, customer service, and digital teams to align messaging and campaign execution.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and performance metrics for marketing communication initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field is a plus (Master’s preferred).
- 12+ years of progressive experience in marketing communications, ideally in consumer goods, appliances, or durable products.
- Strong background in launching physical consumer products across retail and e-commerce channels.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex features into compelling consumer messages.
- Expertise in integrated marketing communications, including digital, social, print, video, and in-store.
- Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms such as CMS, CRM (e.g., Salesforce), digital asset management, analytics tools, and creative software.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.
