Job Description

• Identify and define technical requirements for products such as fire pumps, valves, and related components based on project and operational needs.
• Review specifications, datasheets, and technical drawings to ensure accuracy and alignment with company standards.
• Source and communicate with approved suppliers, distributors, and international/local agents to obtain quotations and technical offers.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Requests (PRs) and Purchase Orders (POs) in line with procurement policies.
• Track and follow up on all purchase orders from issuance until delivery to the company warehouse.
• Maintain up-to-date records of supplier communications, quotations, delivery schedules, and technical documents.
• Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure smooth flow of goods and documentation.
• Monitor inventory levels and conduct periodic stock analysis to avoid shortages or overstock.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on delivery, quality, and responsiveness; support in developing strategic supplier relationships.
• Support in cost analysis, price negotiations, and optimization of procurement costs without compromising quality.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, logistics, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in technical procurement, preferably in fire protection systems, pumps, or industrial mechanical products.
• Strong technical background and ability to read and interpret technical specifications and drawings.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Experience with local and international procurement processes, import regulations, and dealing with agents/distributors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Fluency in English (spoken and written)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
