Job Description

  • Develop and implement comprehensive export sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets across assigned international regions.
  • Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with new distributors, agents, and key accounts in target export markets.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the export sales team to ensure high performance and achievement of sales objectives.
  • Conduct thorough market research to analyse trends, competitor activities, and customer needs in international markets.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with overseas clients and partners, ensuring compliance with company policies and international trade regulations.
  • Coordinate closely with production, logistics, and supply chain teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
  • Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and market analysis to senior management.
  • Monitor and manage export documentation, shipping processes, and compliance with relevant export laws and regulations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance export sales processes, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in export sales, preferably within the paints, coatings, or chemicals industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding export sales targets in international markets.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing sales teams.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations, export documentation, and logistics.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with distributors, agents, and key clients.
  • Analytical mindset with strong market research and strategic planning skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are a plus.
