Job Description

  • Lead and manage the cost control team, providing guidance and support.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive cost control policies and procedures.
  • Monitor overall project budgets, costs, and profitability across multiple projects.
  • Review project estimates, cost forecasts, and risk assessments.
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to senior management.
  • Coordinate with project managers, procurement, and finance teams to optimize costs.
  • Approve contractor payments, variations, and change orders in line with contracts.
  • Provide strategic advice on cost optimization, value engineering, and financial planning.
  • Conduct post-project cost analysis and lessons learned reviews.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in cost control and financial management in construction projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6, SAP, or other cost control software.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
