Role Overview
As a Cloud and DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines that support EdfaPay’s fintech platforms. You’ll collaborate closely with developers, security, and product teams to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance of our systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure with a focus on Alibaba Cloud (preferred), OCI, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, ensuring smooth code integration and deployment.
- Leverage Docker and Kubernetes to containerize and orchestrate microservices-based applications.
- Manage and monitor Linux servers, ensuring security, performance, and scalability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate workflows and optimize system operations.
- Proactively monitor infrastructure and application performance, identifying and resolving issues before they impact users.
- Maintain infrastructure documentation and ensure configurations follow security and compliance standards.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Cloud/DevOps engineering roles.
- Deep understanding of cloud platforms, with experience on Alibaba Cloud, OCI, AWS, or GCP.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools, especially Jenkins.
- Proficiency in Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized application management.
- Advanced Linux server administration skills.
- Solid grasp of networking, DNS, firewalls, and cloud security best practices.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a self-driven, collaborative mindset.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging systems such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack.
- Exposure to Agile development practices and DevOps culture.
- Relevant cloud certifications are a plus:
- Alibaba Cloud Certified Professional
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect
- Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect
