Job Title: Storekeeper
Location: Mohandessin – Restaurant
Department: Inventory / Operations
Reporting to: Restaurant Manager / Operations Manager
Salary: 8,000 – 11,000 EGP (based on experience and qualifications)
Job Responsibilities:
- Receiving:
- Receive goods and supplies from vendors and ensure they match purchase orders.
- Check quantities, quality, and expiry dates to ensure compliance with restaurant standards.
- Record all received items accurately in logs or inventory systems.
- Issuing:
- Issue items to various restaurant departments (kitchen, service, etc.) as per approved requests.
- Ensure proper documentation and acknowledgment upon issuing items.
- Inventory Management:
- Properly organize and store all inventory items following safety and hygiene standards.
- Conduct regular inventory counts (daily, weekly, monthly) and report discrepancies.
- Monitor expiry dates and apply FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory rotation.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing stock.
- Prepare daily and weekly stock reports and submit to management.
- Report any damaged, expired, or missing stock immediately.
- Cleanliness & Organization:
- Keep the storeroom clean, organized, and compliant with food safety regulations.
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times within the storage area.
Job Requirements:

- Previous experience in storekeeping, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Basic knowledge of inventory and stock control procedures.
- Familiarity with inventory software or manual stock management.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
