Our client is a U.S.-based EdTech company trusted by over 80% of K–8 schools. Their award-winning platform helps educators identify and close learning gaps through adaptive, standards-aligned curriculum across 27 subjects — including math, reading, science, social studies, and more.
They are expanding their go-to-market team and hiring SDRs to introduce the platform to more schools, districts, and educators across the country.
Need to have qualifications:
- Strong spoken English with a clear, neutral-to-American accent — you must be confident and comfortable holding conversations with U.S. educators
- A naturally conversational tone with the ability to follow scripts without sounding robotic or overly rehearsed
- Confidence making cold calls and speaking with new people — whether or not you’ve done it in a formal SDR role before
- Comfortable working 40 hours per week aligned with EST (U.S. Eastern Time)
Nice to have:
- Prior experience in sales, cold calling, or lead generation
- Familiarity with the U.S. education system — especially how schools and districts are structured
- Experience selling into U.S. schools or EdTech buyers
- Any background working with SaaS, education, or outreach campaigns
Responsibilities:
- Call into public and private K–8 schools, district offices, and charter networks to offer free trials or live demos of the platform
- Research and find contact numbers for school administrators and district decision-makers (you’ll need to be resourceful and persistent)
- Conduct school-specific outreach by phone using internal tools and provided contact lists
- Use school directories, LinkedIn, and CRM data to identify the right stakeholders at each school or district
- Navigate front desk staff or district phone lines to reach curriculum leads or IT directors
- Book demo or discovery calls for leadership
- Log all outreach activity accurately in the CRM
- Leave professional voicemails and follow up with concise, value-driven emails or relevant success stories
- Collaborate directly with leadership to align outreach efforts with seasonal and regional education priorities
- Participate in regular training sessions, mock calls, and ongoing coaching to improve objection handling and message delivery
