Job summary
As the Social Media Assistant Manager, you will lead and oversee our social media strategy to enhance brand presence, engage audiences, and increase our followers. Managing a team of three, you will ensure content aligns with marketing objectives while optimising performance and staying ahead of industry trends.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business and marketing objectives
- Develop engaging, high-quality content for platforms like YouTube, X, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, LinkedIn and WhatsApp
- Plan and maintain a content calendar, ensuring consistent and engaging posts
- Monitor interactions, respond to comments and messages professionally, and foster an active online community
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus)
- Preferred certifications in social media or digital marketing (e.g., Google Digital Marketing, HubSpot Social Media Certification)
Experience
- Minimum 5-8 years in social media management, strategy development, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience managing a team;
- Track record of growing social media accounts for brands
