Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

• Oracle database Installation and Administration
• Microsoft SQL Server Installation and Administration
• Installation of oracle & SQL security patches
• Having good understanding for HA solutions on SQL and oracle systems
• Monitor DB usage/resources on oracle and SQL servers
• Providing proper and efficient DB support for Business Operations and IT units whom interacting with DBA team
• Ensuring that Database security measures/standards are always met as per internal security policy of NBK
• Participating in daily ETL operations and provide DB support whenever needed
• Participating in on-call duty to guarantee 24*7 DBA support for online and critical systems
• Acting with checker role for the user management cross all systems in scope of DBA

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor's degree from reputable university
• Minimum 1-4 years of professional experience, with at least 1 year experience in IT and preferred Database area
• Good knowledge of DBA support & operational services
• Oracle OCA or /OCP certificate is good to have or at least to have relevant DBA cources
• ITIL Foundation is good to have
• Linux or Unix essential is a must
• English/Arab speaker essential
