📌 Position: DevOps Engineer

📍 Location: Remote – Work from anywhere!

⏳ Job Type: Full‑time (200 hours per month / 50 hours per week)

💰 Salary: Salary: Competitive USD Salary – Get paid in USD.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment of web & mobile apps (Jenkins/GitLab CI/CircleCI).
• Own Git workflows (GitHub/Bitbucket): branch protection, mandatory code reviews, and automated checks before PR merges.
• Provision and manage Dev/QA/Prod using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation/Ansible) and reproducible environments.
• Implement defense‑in‑depth security: IAM, VPNs, firewalls, Zero‑Trust principles, and secrets management.
• Harden internal tooling security (Microsoft 365/Teams, email, SharePoint) including anti‑spoofing (SPF/DKIM/DMARC).
• Operate observability stacks (Prometheus/Grafana/ELK), define SLOs/alerts, and ensure availability & performance.
• Troubleshoot incidents, run root‑cause analysis, and drive capacity planning & cost optimization.
• Partner with Engineering/QA/Product to deliver scalable, reliable systems; document runbooks and playbooks.
• Stay current with DevOps best practices and mentor teammates.

Requirements

• 4+ years as DevOps/SRE or similar role.
• Hands‑on with CI/CD (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI) and strong Git practices.
• IaC & automation: Terraform/CloudFormation/Ansible; scripting with Bash/Shell and Python.
• Cloud expertise in AWS/Azure/GCP; exposure to serverless.
• Containers & orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong grounding in network/app security and systems administration (Linux/Unix & Windows; VMs).
• Excellent troubleshooting skills; calm and effective under pressure.

Nice to Have

• Certifications: AWS / Azure / GCP.
• Monitoring & logging with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK.
• Familiarity with compliance (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR).
