Position Overview

The Service/Product Development Manager will lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of BaridX’s logistics services and products. This is a highly strategic and sensitive role requiring at least 10 years of experience in logistics and supply chain services, with a proven track record of developing innovative solutions that drive growth, enhance customer satisfaction, and improve operational efficiency.

The role requires a visionary leader capable of anticipating market needs, translating them into actionable services, and managing the full lifecycle from concept to launch. The manager will also oversee pricing strategies and coordination with the Digital Operations Department to ensure services are activated, suspended, or updated effectively across all platforms.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of new services (domestic shipping, international shipping, last-mile, freight, customs clearance, etc.) and enhance existing ones.
  • Conduct market studies and competitor benchmarking to identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with IT, Operations, and Sales teams to design services that are both scalable and profitable.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international regulations (IATA, SFDA, ZATCA, customs requirements, etc.).

Pricing & Service Policies

  • Manage and update the pricing of active services regularly, in line with operational costs, market changes, competition, and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare detailed pricing models and cost analyses to maintain a balance between profitability and competitiveness.
  • Review and update promotional and discount policies in coordination with the Finance Department to ensure revenue sustainability.
  • Work on implementing dynamic pricing mechanisms that adapt to variables such as fuel surcharges, customs fees, or partner costs.

Coordination with Digital Operations

  • Directly coordinate with the Digital Operations Department to ensure all active services are correctly updated on BaridX.office.com and other digital platforms.
  • Oversee the suspension or reactivation of services, ensuring these changes are reflected accurately and promptly across systems and customer-facing channels.
  • Guarantee that customer interfaces (website, app, branch systems) always display correct service details and pricing.
  • Review digital performance reports regularly to detect any errors or issues related to service activation/suspension and implement corrective actions quickly.

Implementation & Growth

  • Develop and execute service launch roadmaps, including pilot programs and phased rollouts.
  • Drive growth KPIs such as revenue, adoption rates, and market share.
  • Establish and monitor performance dashboards for each service/product.
  • Lead post-launch evaluations to continuously improve services based on customer feedback and market performance.


Leadership & Coordination

  • Work closely with the R&D Department to integrate digital innovations and AI-driven solutions in logistics services.
  • Coordinate with Operations and the Digital Hub to ensure smooth service implementation and system integration.
  • Provide training and guidelines for Sales, Customer Service, and branch teams regarding new services/products.
  • Report service performance and growth metrics directly to R&D leadership and, when necessary, to the CEO.


Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or Business (Master’s preferred).
  • Minimum 10 years of proven experience in logistics or supply chain, with at least 5 years in service/product development.
  • Strong understanding of international shipping, last-mile, customs clearance, warehousing, and digital logistics platforms.
  • Proven expertise in service innovation, financial feasibility studies, and implementation planning.
  • Knowledge of automation and AI in logistics is a strong plus.

  • Increase in market share across main service categories (domestic, international, clearance, etc.).
  • Profitability margins of services (gross and net).
  • Customer satisfaction and service quality index.
  • On-time service launches as per roadmap targets.
  • Accuracy and agility in pricing updates and service activation/suspension management.
