Title: Environmental Sustainability Manager

Reporting to : HES Director

Job Location: Factory

Monthly Salary Range: Negotiable

• Educational & Professional Background
• Engineering background (Mechanical/Electrical).
• Industrial background is a must.
• Advanced courses or postgraduate degree in Environmental Sustainability.
• MBA or business-related qualification is preferred.
• Experience & Competencies
• Direct involvement in business sustainability projects such as solar cell installation and operation.
• Proven record of initiating, leading, and participating in sustainability initiatives (e.g., waste segregation, emissions reduction, public awareness campaigns).
• Knowledge of product life cycle assessment (LCA) and related emissions calculations.
• Familiarity with sustainability reporting platforms such as CDP, EcoVadis, SBTi, etc.
• Experience in preparing annual environmental sustainability reports at a group level using internationally recognized reporting methodologies such as GRI.
• High communication and coordination skills to manage data collection and projects across factory engineering, management teams, and corporate operations.
• Ability to coordinate with international clients on sustainability requirements as well as with international organizations (e.g., IFC) and national organizations (e.g., Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA), Egyptian Exchange (EGX), and banks during inspections and reporting.
• Regulatory & Standards Awareness
• Knowledge of renewable energy regulations in Egypt.
• General awareness of ISO 14001, GHG Protocol, ISO 14060, and related management system standards.
• Integration of Social Accountability with Environmental Sustainability
• Ability to integrate environmental and social aspects into a holistic ESG strategy.
