Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – Fit-Out & Interior Design

Job Summary:

The Quantity Surveyor (Fit-Out) will be responsible for managing all costs related to interior fit-out and refurbishment projects, from initial calculations to final accounts. The role ensures that projects are completed within budget, with accurate cost estimates, valuations, and financial reporting, while maintaining quality and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs (Bill of Quantities), and tender documents for fit-out and interior projects.
• Evaluate and review project drawings, specifications, and contracts to prepare accurate costings.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analysis for proposed projects.
• Prepare, negotiate, and analyze contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and project requirements.
• Track project costs and monitor variations, claims, and change orders.
• Prepare interim valuations, progress payments, and final accounts.
• Work closely with the project management team to control budget, timelines, and resource allocation.
• Source and negotiate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors for competitive pricing.
• Provide cost advice and value engineering solutions to maintain profitability without compromising quality.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and health & safety regulations.
• Prepare financial reports, cash flow forecasts, and project cost performance updates for management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, specifically within fit-out/interior design projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and interior finishes.
• Proficient in cost estimation, BOQ preparation, and tendering process.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work under pressure.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Experience in UAE/GCC fit-out and interior industry.
• Familiarity with local authority regulations and standards.
