Job Description

Job Purpose:

To handle and coordinate all logistics activities related to import,  shipping, customs clearance, and local transportation in order to ensure smooth, cost-effective, and timely delivery of goods to the company’s warehouses and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and shipping lines for booking, shipping schedules, and documentation.
  • Follow up on import & export shipments, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
  • Manage and review shipping documents (CI, PL, BL, CO, EUR-1, etc.) to ensure accuracy.
  • Follow up with banks and CargoX for ACID, Form 4, and related processes.
  • Communicate with customs brokers to ensure timely customs clearance and delivery.
  • Monitor shipment status and provide regular updates to management.
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams for inbound/outbound deliveries.
  • Negotiate with forwarders and transporters to secure competitive rates and services.
  • Support in cost-saving initiatives, landed-cost calculations, and logistics performance reports.
  • Ensure all logistics records are properly documented and archived.
  • Assist in resolving any issues related to delays, damages, or discrepancies in shipments.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in logistics, import/export, or supply chain (preferably in manufacturing or trading companies).
  • Strong knowledge of international shipping, INCOTERMS, and customs regulations.
  • Familiar with banking procedures related to imports (LC, CAD, DP, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.
