Role Overview:

As a Network Engineer at OmniOps, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and scalable network solutions with a strong focus on Palo Alto technologies. You will also contribute to cloud-related projects, ensuring seamless integration between on-premises and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain enterprise-level network security solutions using Palo Alto firewalls and related technologies.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance and security.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on cloud migration and cloud networking projects.
• Provide technical expertise in incident response, root cause analysis, and proactive network improvements.
• Document configurations, procedures, and best practices for ongoing knowledge sharing.

Qualifications:

• Proven hands-on experience as a Network Engineer with a focus on Palo Alto Networks.
• Strong knowledge of firewalls, routing, switching, and network protocols.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid environments.

Certifications:

• Network Security Professional.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in automation and scripting for network management.
• Familiarity with SIEM tools, IDS/IPS, and security monitoring systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
