Façade Engineer

Location: Cairo

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail oriented and experienced Façade Engineer to join our engineering team. The role involves managing the design, coordination, and execution of façade works (curtain walls, cladding, glazing, and other building envelopes) to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate façade design drawings, shop drawings, and technical submissions.
• Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to ensure façade designs are integrated seamlessly with building systems.
• Supervise installation of façade systems (curtain wall, aluminum cladding, stone, glass, etc.) at site.
• Conduct material inspections, mock-up approvals, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Resolve technical issues related to façade design, installation, and performance.
• Monitor project progress, ensure timelines and budgets are achieved.
• Provide technical support during procurement, subcontractor selection, and contract management.
• Ensure all works are executed in line with safety regulations and company standards.
• Prepare regular progress reports for management and stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture.
• 5–8 years of proven experience in façade engineering within construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of façade systems (curtain walls, glazing, cladding, aluminum, stone, etc.).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and façade engineering software (e.g., STAAD, Tekla, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with international codes and standards for façade design and installation.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and coordination skills.
