• Role Description

This is a full-time, for a Sustainability Researcher. The Sustainability Researcher will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing data, and developing insights on environmental, social, and economic sustainability issues. They support organizations, government agencies, or NGOs in creating evidence-based strategies to promote sustainable practices, climate resilience, and resource efficiency .

• Task

Conduct in-depth research on sustainability topics such as climate change, renewable energy, waste management, biodiversity, and sustainable supply chains

Collect, analyze, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data from various sources.

Assess the environmental and social impact of existing policies, programs, or business practices.

Prepare technical reports, research papers, policy briefs, and sustainability assessments.

Develop clear visualizations, infographics, and presentations to communicate findings effectively.

Monitor global trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in sustainability.

Support the development of sustainability strategies and action plans for organizations.

Provide evidence-based recommendations for policy development and regulatory frameworks.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and external partners to advance sustainability initiatives.

Liaise with academic institutions, NGOs, government bodies, and industry experts.

Organize workshops, webinars, and conferences to disseminate research findings.

Use sustainability tools and frameworks such as Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), carbon footprint analysis, and ESG metrics.

Maintain research databases and ensure data accuracy and integrity.

• Qualifications

Research skills, Data Analysis, and Report Writing

Knowledge of Sustainable Practices, Environmental Impact Assessment, and Eco-friendly Technologies

Experience in Compliance and Environmental Regulations

Collaborative communication and presentation skills

Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

B.Sc. in Chemistry or B.Eng. in Textile Engineering

Experience in the textile or manufacturing industry is a plus
