Job description
Key Responsibilities:
1- Site Assessment:
· Conduct site visits and assessments to evaluate the feasibility of solar energy projects.
· Analyze factors such as solar resource availability, shading, terrain, and site constraints to determine optimal locations for solar PV installations.
2- Project Management Support:
· Provide technical support and expertise to project managers, construction teams, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
· Assist in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and coordination to ensure successful project execution.
3- Quality Assurance and Compliance:
· Conduct quality assurance checks and inspections to verify that solar PV installations meet design specifications and industry standards.
· Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and permitting requirements.
4-Documentation and Reporting:
. Maintain detailed documentation of all project activities and provide regular progress reports to project stakeholders, key milestones, challenges, and recommendations for improvement
5- Monitoring and Maintenance:
. Ongoing monitoring and maintenance activities to ensure long-term reliability and performance of system. This includes conducting regular inspections, cleaning solar panels, replacing faulty components, and optimizing system settings to maximize energy output and minimize downtime
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in engineering, renewable energy, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification is a plus.
· Previous experience in solar energy project development, site assessment, and system design.
· Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, Sketchup, or similar tools.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
· Knowledge of solar energy technologies, electrical systems, and construction practices.
· Familiarity with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
