Job Purpose
The Ticketing & Reservation Agent is responsible for managing all aspects of flight, hotel, and travel bookings for Rehal Tours clients. This includes handling reservations, issuing and reissuing tickets, ensuring accurate travel documentation, and providing high-quality customer service.
The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, organized, and proficient in the Amadeus GDS system.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all flight and travel reservation requests through Amadeus and other platforms.
- Issue, reissue, and cancel airline tickets accurately according to airline and company policies.
- Provide clients with fare quotations, best route options, and advice on baggage rules, transit visas, and travel restrictions.
- Coordinate with airlines, consolidators, and suppliers to resolve booking and ticketing issues.
- Process refunds, revalidations, and exchanges promptly and correctly.
- Maintain proper documentation and accurate records of all reservations and transactions.
- Manage inquiries received via phone, email, or walk-ins with professionalism and courtesy.
- Support sales by upselling related services (hotels, transfers, insurance, etc.) where possible.
- Stay updated on airline promotions, system updates, and travel regulations.
- Prepare daily or weekly reports on bookings, revenues, and cancellations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in ticketing and airline reservation.
- Proficiency in Amadeus GDS (mandatory).
- Strong understanding of airline fare rules, reissue, and refund processes.
- Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).
- High attention to detail, accuracy, and time management.
- Customer-oriented mindset with a proactive attitude.
- Ability to handle multiple bookings and work under pressure.
- Knowledge of additional GDS systems (Sabre, Galileo) is an advantage.
