• 
  
• Install, configure, and maintain SQL Server instances in standalone and clustered environments.
• Provide production and development database support, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Manage SQL Server high availability solutions, including replication, log shipping, and clustering.
• Perform database patching, upgrades, migrations, and license management.
• Define and implement backup, restore, and retention policies; conduct regular recovery drills.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to CPU, memory, disk I/O, and network.
• Analyse and resolve database fragmentation, row chaining, and storage-related performance issues.
• Create and manage maintenance plans for index optimization, statistics updates, and cleanup tasks.
• Schedule and manage SQL Server Agent jobs for automation of routine tasks.
• Capture and analyse performance metrics using native tools and recommend tuning improvements.
